The Del Frisco's Oak Street steakhouse occupies an 80-year-old building constructed for the Esquire theater, nestled between luxury retailers off Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Archistoric was asked to produce multiple fixture types during a large-scale renovation of the restaurant.
champagne cloud is a huge collection glass orbs installed within the scalloped ceiling cove. With a gold reflective ceiling finish and integral downlighting, the cloud became the centerpiece of the Champagne Bar.
marquee chandelier was fabricated from a 5'6" diameter steel disc, wrapped with a 2" high collar to form a canopy. The circular channel mounting frame allows the canopy to fasten from the sides, resulting in a seamless expanse of blackened steel.
decorative pipe sconce features a tubular steel frame supporting custom hand-blown glass shades. The frame was designed to maximize space in the private dining room by hugging the millwork column.
