Long a vacant reminder of Chicago's architectural past, the 1893 Venetian Gothic Chicago Athletic Association was transformed by a $100M renovation in 2015.

The smartly restored façade on Michigan Avenue and a collection of impeccably updated rooms make the boutique hotel a model of historic preservation.

As part of the renovation, Archistoric restored or replicated over 100 historic light fixtures. Crystal, bronze and plaster chandeliers and wall sconces were brought back to life, along with the "stalactite" lights in the famous white-on-white ballroom.
